CM Canister Filters come in two styles, fiber element oil filters and screen filters. The oil filters come with Canton's synthetic fiber filter element that filters to 8 micron and is ideal for use as a primary filtration filter. The screen filters come with a screen element installed and are idealfor an inspection filter.
Both filters feature housings made from a light weight 3-1/4" aluminum square extrusion, 1-1/16" -12 straight O-ring ports and a removable top cap that allows for easy and mess free element replacement. Filters have blue anodized bodies and clear anodized end caps. Stainless steel mounting clamp is included. |

| Canister Oil Filterscome in two sizes. The taller, 6" filter, can hold more contamination because of its size and therefore doesn't need to be changed as often. However, when room is the limiting factor, the shorter 4" filter is ideal and will still deliver absolute protection. |
Canister Screen Filters provide general filtration with the ability to easily monitor contaminants. CM fine elements (140 mesh/180 micron) are recommended for filtering all significant particles without restricting flow. CM coarse (50 mesh/250 micron) elements are recommended when heavier oil is used and the particles being monitored are larger, as in transmissions and differentials. CM remote screen oil filters are 3 1/4" indiameter and 6" tall with -12 O-ring ports ports. Machined from a lightweight aluminum extrusion, the housing is blue anodized with a clear anodized top and bottom cap. Stainless steel mounting clamp included.
