Solid Steering Shaft Assembly:
You can sharpen your Mustang's steering response with this solidsteering shaft assembly. With your stock steering shaft, motion is lostdue to the flexing of the rubber rag-joint. This flexing usually feelslike play in the steering wheel (you can move the steering wheelwithout the car changing direction). The factory joints are replacedwith race-quality needle-bearing U-joints, resulting in a dramaticimprovement in steering response.
Power Steering Pump Kit
Improve steeringfeel with MM's new Racing Power Steering Pump Kit. A common complaintin high performance driving is a difficulty in accurately placing thecar on the track due to the over-assisted stock power steering system.The high assist level of the stock system makes the steering feelextremely light, and reduces the usable feedback to the driver. Thislight feel causes the driver to turn the steering wheel much more thanintended, which leads to a lack of driving smoothness.
Restrictor Valve Kit:
This kit has 8different restrictor valves for the pump in the MM Power Steering PumpKits (ST-70 & ST-72). Use these valves to change the amount ofpower assist from the pump. Note: The ST-70 kit comes with a restrictorvalve that works quite well for most racing situations.
