Brey-Krause Harness Mount Bar for C4 Corvette: R-1110
Installation: Bar attaches to factory mounting points in "B" pillars. Support rods attach to outside lap belt mounting point.
Brey-Krause had this bar tested by independent labs and certified to handle the loads and forces required by the National Highway Traffic Safety Admin. DOT and SAE J385 Rev. MAR 95, Motor Vehicle Seat Belt Anchorages-Performance Requirements.
The C4 Harness bar can quickly be removed and installed. Factory holes and mounting points are used so it will not damage the car in any way to mount the bar. It provides a proper location for mounting shoulder harnesses in relation to driver and passenger which can help prevent further injury during an accident. Proper harness mounting may also help the driver stay in the seat sided to side during high G cornering.
