Brembo Big Brake Kit, Front, 6-Piston Caliper, Drilled, 355x32 2Pc Rotor for Dodge Viper RT-10, GTS, 1992 to 2000, P/N 1M1.8017A.

This Brembo Gran Turismo Brake System is comprised of 355x32 2-Piece vented rotors that are Drilled. This system has a billet aluminum hat that is application specific and have been individually machined to engineering specifications. The marriage of these pieces create a "floating disc" which reduces heat related stress and improves brake performance and pedal feel. Your choice of Black, Red, Silver, Yellow or GT-R, 6 Piston Calipers with pads. All mounting hardware is included.

Each Gran Turismo kit is vehicle-specific to integrate seamlessly with the factory ABS and master cylinder for optimum brake balance. The calipers have sequential piston bores for even pad wear and OEM approved dust boots to protect inner pressure seals, brake fluid, and extend service life. The floating anti-rattle hardware is designed to prevents heat related stress, eliminates noise, and extends component life. The lightweight 2-piece disc assemblies reduce "unsprung" weight for improved vehicle dynamics.

This Kit is for the spirited street driver who attends numerous driving events every year.  The Front Kit is slightly lighter in weight than the stock Viper brakes with the 6-Piston Monobloc Caliper, a pad that is ~60% longer and oversized 14" diameter. discs. The lighter weight will provide finer handling, better acceleration, fuel economy and significantly better braking. The Rear GT Kit uses a caliper similar to the stock front Viper caliper with a bigger rotor and the secondary parking brake caliper.  While this is an increase in weight the significant improvement in the rear brakes is obvious.
