The heart of any competition oil pan is its baffling. The baffling systems in Canton's competition oil pans are the result of extensive testing on all types of tracks with different configurations of engines. Canton's competition road race baffles have trap doors and directional runners which make the oil flow to the pickup compartment during turns, acceleration out of turns, and down the straight. Oil is also directed to the center rear by angled runners. The trap doors close and keep the oil around the pickup during braking. Canton's competition baffling always directs oil to where the Canton pickup is positioned. The baffling, pickup and sump shape are designed together to provide the best performance in each application.
Canton and Brey-Krause Oil Pans are available for AMC, Ford, Chevy, Honda, Oldsmobile, Mopar, Pontiac and Porsche motors, including Small Block Chevy (SBC), Big Block Chevy (BBC), Small Block Ford (SBF), Big Block Ford (BBF) and Chevy LS1.
