Brake Fluid

When the brake fluid starts boiling, it's too late. Heavy brake use leads to high brake fluid temperatures. In extreme cases, brake fluid begins to boil causing vapor or gas bubbles to form in the brake system. This vapor or gas can be compressed allowing the brake pedal to travel all the way to the floor without providing the stopping power you expect from your brake system. Keeping the proper brake fluid in your system will also reduce corrosion buildup due to the condensation that occurs naturally over time as well.

Change brake fluid at regular intervals to make sure you're getting the best performance from your brake system. Independent studies have shown that 7 out of 10 vehicles need brake fluid replaced.

LPI Racing stocks ATE Type 200 (Gold), Motul RBF-600, Stoptech STR-600, STR-660 and Wilwood EXP600 Plus, 570° Hi-Temp and the Wilwood FIVE silicone brake fluid. We have you covered for DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5 compliant fluids. Don't neglect your braking performance and safety. Keep fresh fluid in your system. We use and recommend the Motive Products power brake bleeder kits make running fresh fluid through the brake system before each track event a breeze.
