Porterfield Carbon Kevlar R-4 Racing Brake Pad:  AP 577 R-4 

Porterfield R-4 Carbon Kevlar Competition brake pads are designed for motorsports use. The R-4 compound is very versatile with optimun temperatures as low as 450?F. The R-4 coumpound operates across a wide temperature range while being able to maintain an average ? of .50 and greater. The R-4 brake pads require minimal bed-in time compared to other motorsports brake pads.

Typical AP 577 R-4 applications are Mercedes Benz (C140) 500SEC and 500SEL. (W140) 400SE, 400SEL, 600SEC, 600SEL, CL500, CL600, S420, S500, S600, 300SD, 300SE, S320, S350 and S350D front brakes..
