Porterfield Carbon Kevlar R-4 Racing Brake Pad:  AP 683 R-4 

Porterfield R-4 Carbon Kevlar Competition brake pads are designed for motorsports use. The R-4 compound is very versatile with optimun temperatures as low as 450?F. The R-4 coumpound operates across a wide temperature range while being able to maintain an average ? of .50 and greater. The R-4 brake pads require minimal bed-in time compared to other motorsports brake pads.

Typical AP 683 R-4 applications are Bentley Arnage Green Label, BMW X5. E31 840Ci, 850Ci, 850CSi and 850i. E38 740i, 740iL and 750iL. E39 M5. E45 M3 competition package. E46 330Ci and M3. E60 530i, 530Xi, 530Xi, 535 XDRiVE and 535Xi. E85/E86 Z4. 330i, 330Xi, X3, X5 and Z8..
